My challenge is going well so far. Not only have I been turning appliances off that I am not using but my roommates as well. They tend to leave on lights after they leave the room. I also turned off my ceiling fan when I left for the weekend because it was unnecessary to have it going when I would be in there for days. My roommates and I have been using lamps instead of the large overhead light. I'm not sure if this makes a difference.
