REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Ethan Jones 10/16/2023 6:14 PMWhen I am walking outside the fresh air feels really good and especially now on beautiful fall days its nice to get out and walk between classes or to practice and just spend some time out of the dorm or classroom. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureKathleen Dean Moore says that a sense of gratitude leads to a sense of moral obligation. Do you agree? How can we cultivate a sense of gratitude as individuals, and as a society?
Ethan Jones 10/16/2023 6:13 PMIf we are more grateful for the beautiful planet we have we will feel more obligated to protect it. Just by spending more time outside we will realize how good we have it and will want to protect it more.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyWhat are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Ethan Jones 10/16/2023 6:10 PMWe have a large river not far away so there are multiple dams generating hydroelectric power as well as two nuclear powerplants along it. It dams the river at many places which is actually not a bad thing because without it the river would be very shower and not usable for very much. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Ethan Jones 10/16/2023 6:07 PMIts easier to workout or exercise when you are with friends it makes it more enjoyable. At sports practices or something with a group of people makes exercising fun. -
Ethan Jones 10/16/2023 6:06 PMIts easy to be outside when the weather is nice but its harder on some of the rainy days we have had recently. Saving water is also easier in the Manor bathrooms because you want to be in their for as little amount of time as possible. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterWhat is the main water source in your region? If you don't know, how could you find out?
