REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityHow might practicing work-life balance lead to a more sustainable life for yourself? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Paige Miller (Cho ECO102) 10/11/2023 6:22 AMWith a busy schedule it is hard to remind yourself to stop working. I now limit my hours on checking emails and my canvas page. I make sure to only be doing work 8 hours a day and less on the weekends. By doing this I find myself actually relaxing more and not always just thinking about the next thing that I need to get done. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Paige Miller (Cho ECO102) 10/10/2023 7:16 PMOften I think of walking as wasting time and energy, due to a busy schedule. Filling my time with needed fresh air and reflection is not meant to be a chore therefore feels unproductive. Walking today I feel felt guilt about being unproductive, but it allow me to realize my negative thinking. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureFather Thomas Berry says, "... our primary purpose is celebration. What is your response to Berry's assertion?
Paige Miller (Cho ECO102) 10/10/2023 7:11 PMI think that reflection while watching the sunset allows one to think about the planet as a whole. Often one gets caught up in their own head and can not think of those around them. While I watch the sunset I am reminded not only of people but the earth I live on,
