It is difficult to discipline yourself to complete many of these tasks while also trying to manage your time/schedule with homework, sports practices, and other activities. However, it does motivate you to try something new everyday even if you cannot fully follow through with the challenge.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

It is difficult to use a reuseable water bottle especially as an athlete when water sometimes just isn't enough and an energy drink, coffee, or other beverage is needed. Maybe just decreasing the amount of energy drinks and coffee consumed and discipling yourself to drink your body weight in water before consuming another beverage is a great way to start progressing towards a healthier diet/lifestyle.
