How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

Georgetown is so pretty this time of year. I put in extra effort to make note of things I saw on my walk - like cute dogs or fun Halloween decorations.

I'm excited! This seems like a great way to practice more sustainable habits.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
Reducing your paper mail can reduce mental clutter as well as physical waste -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

I don't get much paper mail as a college student, so it won't be a big change, but receiving less junk mail will make me feel less cluttered, physically and mentally. My next step is to ensure that when I do receive physical mail, I can recycle it effectively.
