REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterWho is affected by polluted water or a lack of access to water in your region? How are they affected?
Maria Pozo 10/09/2023 8:13 AMWhen I think of water pollution, I think of French Island because they are facing a water crisis at the moment. There is a current health advisory, and they are required to use bottled water instead of well water. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Maria Pozo 10/05/2023 11:31 AMAfter doing some research it looks as though electricity in Wisconsin is generated by Nuclear Power stations, Coal-fired Power plants, Wind Farms, Petroleum-fired Plants, Gas-fired Plants, and Hydro-electric Plants. The closest to Onalaska is the Petroleum-fired plant located on French Island. Burning natural gases releases CO2 admissions into the air, speeding up the process of global warming.
