When I think of water pollution, I think of French Island because they are facing a water crisis at the moment. There is a current health advisory, and they are required to use bottled water instead of well water.

After doing some research it looks as though electricity in Wisconsin is generated by Nuclear Power stations, Coal-fired Power plants, Wind Farms, Petroleum-fired Plants, Gas-fired Plants, and Hydro-electric Plants. The closest to Onalaska is the Petroleum-fired plant located on French Island. Burning natural gases releases CO2 admissions into the air, speeding up the process of global warming.
