  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

    Kathryn Reindl 11/29/2023 11:49 AM
I can incorporate other "R's" by thinking logically and critically about what I need, don't need, and what I could use for other purposes instead of buying something new.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more unnecessary things in the future?

    Kathryn Reindl's avatar
    Kathryn Reindl 11/18/2023 11:23 AM
I can go through what I already own and assess what I can use it for before throwing it away and deeming it unusable.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?

    Kathryn Reindl's avatar
    Kathryn Reindl 11/18/2023 11:22 AM
I pay more attention to my food, and it feels like building a relationship with it rather than simply eating it. I learn to appreciate it more.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
How is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?

    Kathryn Reindl 11/18/2023 11:21 AM
Creativity allows us to use what we have first before buying new things. Think repurposing, recycling, and reusing.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
