Growing up in a small town there weren't many forms of transportation because everyone decided to drive their own cars and trucks. The only form of public transportation we had were the school buses and I lived right next to the school. Therefore, I don't use much public transportation because I don't know much about it. I think growing up like this is why I either prefer to drive myself or walk, and sometimes ride a bike. I do enjoy walking because I grew up where I was able to walk to school or to the park. I also have dogs at home that I would walk frequently. Therefore, my life has influenced my opinion of transportation methods by swaying me to want to either walk or drive because thats what I grew up mostly doing.

an ecological problem that I care most about is toxic waste, littering, and inaccurate waste disposal. I would like to see work done on how we can more efficiently dispose of waste.

I would tell them that everyone has the personal choice to how they eat and if you think about it like this on a small scale then it is totally possible.
