  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

To learn about recycling options and what to recycle, I first found three recycling plants near me, one that is less than 10 minutes away. I also learned that there are some forms of plastic that cannot be recycled, such as plastic straws and bags. Instead, you should use paper straws and reuseable bags.

Food sovereignty is essential in the modern age, to keep traditions alive, to ensure that food can be spread out to the world populace, and to ensure that people of all classes can receive the nutrition they need.
